Creating Workflows to Scale Out Large Open Access E-book Acquisitions at the Library of Congress

Abstract

This poster will illustrate the origins of OA (OA) e-book acquisition and processing at the Library of Congress; creation, refinement, and evolution of the technical workflows; collaborative relationships developed and strengthened through this work; special issues and opportunities presented by expanded telework during the COVID-19 pandemic; and ongoing challenges in expanding and routinizing OA e-book collecting at the Library of Congress.
