Purpose
The purpose of this tool is to help find formats and patterns of file extensions in the copy of the Indiana University CD-ROM & Floppy Library held by the U.S. Government Publishing Office.
The full list of file extensions has been included in the collection profiles part of the workbench, so you can get an overview all the extensions there. You can then use this page to look at individual extensions in more detail.

Query by File Extension

Focus on Floppy Disks
This part uses a query that focusses on floppy disks only, to make it easier to find example files from floppy media. It limits the number of matches it returns, to avoid overloading the results table.
